No Swamp Wardens, they did have a Bama Clay Game warden that I kept looking at though:

These Hacks (in INFI) were also quite nice:

I haven't seen any Swamp Wardens on the table since, Spring Knob 08... I think..

I kept looking at that Green Warden and the Hacks... but then that smooth handled FSH caught my eye... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> and that was that... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I liked the Bama Clay Warden, which I think was normal thickness -- I recall that you said the green was a fatty. I also seem to remember that after looking at the Hacks, you started comparing them against getting another SAR5.

In my opinion, you made the right decision by going for that FSH. I REALLY like the feel of the hand-shaped handles on my Bama Clay NMSFNO, but I'm still second-guessing myself about whether I should have gotten the other hand-shaped Micarta FSH instead.

Wow, what a deal on the small Hack! How much was the larger one?

That's right, the GW was a fatty, I like the thinner ones a little better. The SAR5 was a great deal compared to the GW's or the Hacks. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I halfway wish I'd gone ahead and got that other SAR5 too while I was at it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

I totally agree on the FSH, and the Hand Shaped NMSFNO's are great too. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

There's always a few that I wish I'd got... no regrets though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Scrappy, I've been trying to find a Swamp Warden myself for a long time now. The last ones Eric offered were $68.00 and change. Everything I see on the after market is $100.00+ and sell very quickly.
