I am so excited about the new release, but still think of the M9 from time to time. I was really hoping to get one in CG.....but it looks like the knife is dead along with the swamp... A great release that is floundering.

I've wondered the same thing, the M9LE thread had a whopping 2 page of posts and Scrap Yard's intro of SR-101. But I've come to the conclusion that although the forum is dead, that doesn't necessarily mean sales are bad or that swamp rat is dead. Only time will tell...

The Swamp is in a drought right now but some summer rains should bring it back to life; at least I hope so.

I hope the swamp gets more active - I wouldn't mind a chance at a M9 CG, and I'm really digging my mini uncle mojo. After I destroyed the edge the other day trying to baton through a hardened masonry nail that I didn't know was there, I've put what I think is a pretty nice convexed edge on it.
On the other hand, if the swamp stays crazy slow, I would not mind AT ALL if more Yard knives started coming out in SR-101!

Eric did say something "big" was coming as well. What that means after the M9 seems interesting to say the least!
A quick Swamp question ...Does Jerry do those designs? I thought so,but the way the Busse section of bladeforum..."talks about" (I'm trying to be diplomatic) the other Bussekin makes me wonder. Couple folks were knocking comment i made on the RMD and somebody else with the S6! I don't get it...

Yeah I'm not sure why some people have a grudge against the other two Busse family blades - maybe those folks have spent SO MUCH money on their second-hand collector Busse blades, that they are jealous of us for having such amazing performance for the price we are paying <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
