.... and the balance of hidden tang knives tends to be a bit more to my liking,....

+1 - I have a preference for lighter handled knives in Most cases and sized knives.

I just really hope the yard keeps getting SR101.

+1 (Or the Swamp gets use of Res-C back - either way) I have been hoping for this for a long time. I am VERY glad to see the S5 with SR-101! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I would love to see the swamp ramp up production a bit,

+1 sure... but, I can't afford the M9LE I am about to have to pay for and the S5's I am about to have to pay for. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> .... I NEED more MONEY!!!! more than I need more knives. But, I can't seem to stop myself. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" />

..... and start skeletonizing handles for better balance.

+Bazillion!!! I have suggested this and hoped for this for a Long time. The HRLM is a GREAT knife, but I would like it more if lighter in the handle.

I requested/hoped for skeletonized tangs with my Bog Dog II concept and my Rat Jack concept to reduce handle weight and improve balance and feel. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> ..... I am REALLY starting to like this kind of Mustard ........ Man. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, the picture with no comment thing confused me too. Seems like it wouldn't take much effort to type out "hey guys check out this badass picture of the knife that we will be shipping in 2018"

LMAO

Yeah... I miss the good ol' days when Eric would participate in conversations and forum threads with us. I don't know what has happened. He does seem burned out or something (??????) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Perhaps Eric is getting some rest before the onslaught! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

The Swamp will never die. It's where I come from, and the first serious knives I got to invest in, and only therefore the Swamp will always be alive in my heart. I'll never part the Rats I kept untill now.

When Scrapyard starts making micarta handled blades in SR-101, then the Swamp will be dead for sure as there's no more reason to excist..
It all comes down to some cloth and glue.. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I really hope the Yard doesn't switch to micarta. I like my rubber handles and hidden tangs.

I would be shocked if the Yard introduced micarta or G10 into the mix.

i hope SY keeps making smaller and bigger knives in SR77. the occasional sr101 run is ok, but to replace the smaller sr77 such as the dmcg and s6 with sr101 is a BAD BAD move. the yard has built its reputation on bomb-proof blades made of sr77. i think dan is as fond of it as am i. SR77 aint going nowhere bc Dan knows how great it is.
