Don't you have a strider imagine? I've had three now I guess and I'm back to Benchmades. Started with an AR, had it majorly modded. Then an SnG which was my favorite. Then an SMF which I liked almost as much as the SnG. They are the best folder made IMHO. However, are they worth 400 bucks??? Ultimately, I didn't think so, the Benchmades I have do everything I need plus alot. Not to mention I can afford some other toys.

What benchmades you got? I have an Apparition and a 950 Rift...
The Rift is my favorite by far.. I switch between it and a spyderco stretch II for my EDC...

890bk Torrent, great for EDC and a Benchmade LUM 760bk all for much less than a used Strider.

Yes sir, its new. Assisted opener even, but with a leaf spring instead of a coil. Also, its a liner lock so when I get it filthy I can take it apart and clean it.
