There was a lot of discusion of what the thickness of the S101 would be -

If I MISSED IT, pardon moi'!

So, what was the final decision on b;ade thickness...?

Yeah for a 5 inch blade, I think 3/16 is great, maybe even a bit thinnner

im with you guys in this size of a blade the 3/16 is great but still just like the fell of a 1/4 in. ir bigger in larger knives

I'm glad she will be thin. I see no reason for a sub 6 inch blade to be a 1/4 inch. But that is only my opinion.

On a smaller blade like this, I see no reason for 1/4" stock. Thin is nice for a slicer. Now if only it came with a convex edge!
