As much as I like my SODs I would have to say the NMSFNO feel alot better in hand. It is just more refined and sexy. Keep in mind tho, the NMSFNO is over 2x the cost of a single SOD. I have 2 SODs and they cost less than one NMSFNO. Dan is right with the cost to performance ratio deal. The SOD is a lot of knife for the money.

So guys which do you think is better the SOD or the NMSFNO. I'm thinking about getting one these knives. Thanks They are designed for the same thing. Pick the one you like best or can afford. Since it is INFI, I'd have to say that the NMSFNO is "better", but costs over twice as much. For value, I'd go with the SOD. The SOD is lighter and easier carrying, too. They are both outstanding camp knives.

The SOD is just a bit thicker too. my CT pants which fit the NMSFNO and the CT (both 1/4") will not fit the SOD because of the thicker than 1/4" thickness.

Next on the list is a sheath for the NMSFNO. I get strange looks when I just carry it around in my hand....
