The eggs are absolutely necessary. They are part of a cohesive whole which makes the burger greater than the sum of its parts. And the sum of its parts probably has 5000 calories <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

That place looks interesting, and the food looks great. I saw that episode of MvF, and although that's too much burger for me, I'd love eat there and try out one of their burgers.

There are other burgers that aren't quite so ridiculous - the ragin cajun and big blue buffalo are two of my favorites.

Also, for an extra treat, order tater tots as your side, and ask for a cup of their buffalo wing sauce for dippin' your tots. Awesome! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

So the HOGs seem to have a tradition of going to Fogo de Chao, and I've heard a thing or three about cheesecakes, but if you're going to be in Atlanta for BLADE, there is one place you MUST visit...

The Vortex Bar and Grill, with locations in Little Five Points, and Midtown, is an Atlanta tradition, and probably the best burgers you'll find in the city. If you're looking to spice things up, you can switch out the beef for a bison patty, and they sometimes have more exotic options like ostrich.

But the really great part of the Vortex is the crazy burgers they have available.

There are quite a few really good and interesting options - but two immediately spring to mind.

The first is the Elvis burger, which is topped with bananas, peanut butter, and bacon.

The second is the Double Bypass burger. While I could describe it here, I think it's better to look at the video at this link, to get a feel for just how incredibly awesome this burger is....
