OP Horn Dog Junk Yard Dog Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 14,586 Georgia	Jerry must have a new paint. My old stripper only softens it a bit. Or maybe it is just the sage that is so tough. My sage/tan ASH-1 was hard to strip, too. Eventually I'll get it all out of the holes and crevices, but I just sanded it off the blade. The steel is really rough under the paint. Almost like an orange peel texture, with dark decarb. Now I see why the LE costs so much. 8 hours of sanding and three worn out belts, and it still isn't perfect. It will have to do. I'll show you the stages, about an hour apart. The Lizard King is showing off. He is into yellow now.
