wow SB, that ranger is sweet looking. Especially love that handle.
It's been too long since I've been on KF.
I should stop by and see whats up sometime.

Great pics.
Looks like you had some fun.
guns, knives and the great outdoors.

That is some beautiful scenery you got there--mother nature and the steel that came from her.

Do you pack with the A4 AR-15 in the woods? I just put together a lt wt A1 CAR-15 for that purpose. I just need NODAK to release some A1 lowers and that project will be finished. You ask what that has to do with Bussekin blades, it will allow me to have more funds for steel and not aluminum LOL

Men you can't trust, women you can't trust, beasts you can't trust, but Bussekin steel you can trust

thanks guys, I can never get enough of the forrest, my goal this year is to get up more than last year. Eventually I want to buy some acres out there. As far as the Ranger Bushcrafter, it has a 4.5 inch blade, 9.5 OAL, 3/16 thk CPM 3V. That and the gem from Snotpig are both awesome blades. EMF, good to see ya,hope all is well your way. The AR I bring up to plink with, I usually have something larger in my tent in case some 4 legged critters roam into camp but I find that they usually stay away with the gun fire. As a matter of fact I have never run across anything other than an occasional deer or marmot.

Awesome pictures! Snotpig's knife looks like a great user and I'm really digging Justin's knife.

It is, I just need to get some pants made up for it and then I will be good. I have a hatchet on the way from him next

While I have my big camping trip planned here in a couple of weeks I had the opportunity to make it up to the forrest this past weekend to play with some toys and throw a few beers back. Anyway wanted to share a couple of pics with you guys. The weather was rainy unfortunately but you can't control mother nature and a rainy day in the woods beats the hell out of a day at work.

chopped down several trees with this baby, the only bummer is at one point we decided to attempt to shoot a tree down, well after a couple of hundred rounds I felt I should just finish it off with the Mistress, in the process I dinged the crap out of my blade smacking it against the bullets logged in the tree my own fault and truthfully considering the force I was swinging the thing the edge held up nicely.
Here is my ugly mug by a waterfall off the creek we were camping at

That is some rugged and beautiful country, SB. Is it up in the Sierrra Nevada mountains? Thanks for the great pictures.
