The first decision was what knife to take

My fellow Dogs suggested the Scrap Muk and SOD. I don't have a Scrap Muk and no one offered theirs so on another suggestion from my fellow Dogs I took the Bird Dog and SOD

Loaded and ready to go. There is a term for this...."everything but the kitchen sink"....that may be in there somewhere also <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

214 miles and 4 hours later I have arrived

I don't think that is enough firewood for a week

Now the problems start <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />. I can't find my Bird Dog <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />. The SOD had to be brought into action to open this package. Granted it was a little overkill but it handled the job with no problem.

I've never seen a campground with this much tree cover. I'm sure its great in the summer when you need shade but this time of year it left a green dust on everything....tree pollen!! Can we say sinus and allergy attack <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

A thunderstorm came thru at 11:30pm on the first night <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" />. It lasted for three hours. It continued to rain heavily until 11:30am the next day.

Finally time for breakfast



At 2:30pm it started raining heavily again

At 5:30pm it quit. At 6:00pm it started again. At 11:30pm it quit.
