That would take a whole lot of Yukon Jack to get over <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/loopy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/loopy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/loopy.gif" alt="" />

If you decide to drill, clamp your finger down first. We had a kid in shop class who used the drill press to do that, and his thumb rode up the bit and through his whole thumb. Now that was funny. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

Ouch, and I would have laughed. When I said drill out, I was refering to a finger drill that my PaPa used. It was a real small bit, not much larger than a needle.

That won't work. Gotta have the arm and hand to play with knives. You can still play with knives missing a finger <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> I saw that, don't be giving me the finger now Clint <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

I drill through the nail myself. Lets the pressure off and helps a lot with the throbbing!

I use a very small drill bit and just rotate it between by thumb and index finger to drill it.

All that being said, Vic is right about clamping it down if you use the drill press! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
