OK lads, lets do a poll to see which SYK needs to come back SOON? We have all these new sweet fancy designs upon us but I also believe we need to keep it real & pay respect to where it all started. Scrapper 6, Dumpster Mutt, Dogfather etc. We'll keep it simple so CG & SR-77 steel will be the pick in this poll. I have only listed the older knives which I felt would be realistic for a re-run.
Personally I feel Scrap Yard NEED to do a run of Scrapper 6's, Dumpster Mutts & Dog Fathers at least once a year, with S6's & CGDM's first on my list. What about you?
338, it just rolls off the tongue.

Honestly, I see nothing there that I absolutely NEED to have. I guess the dogfather would be cool, scrapper 6 isn't different enough from the S5 for me to care, dumpster mutt doesn't fit my needs, and yard keeper and guard just don't work for me in SR-77.
Much rather have a SOD release than any of those.

i completely disagree and if any knives should be around all the time, they should be the smaller stainless models. how bout a mud puppy combat grade?
i like seeing new stuff all the time and being limited and exclusive adds to the value and mystique of the Busse family.

I voted S6 and DM...But I think variations of the originals would be best. What allows these knives to hold their value is that they are available for a short time and then no longer available after that. That helps them retain their value. If they were constantly being re-released that would go away as anyone could buy a classic by just waiting for the next release of a particular classic. So, I vote for releasing variations of the classics but not the originals. Leave those for the secondary market.
If the S5 is any indication of the newer styles to come...then I say let them continue on that track.

And another good call on the CGMP OK, maybe we(forum members) could get an option from Scrap Yard on some of the older & newer models we lust after. Now that would be sweet

I would like a solid lead dogfather.

I voted Dogfather and scrapper 6.. I want both of those, but don't to pay secondary market prices..
I would also like to see a SS4LE in 154cm...

I am kidding of course, though lead would be kind of interesting it's less then ideal for knives.
