Just picked up a new DMCG with penetrator tip <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> man this is one sweet blade. The handles were smaller than I thought they would be though. Dare I say, I am officially cool and part of the gang. MY very first Scrap Yard Knife (other than the 2 S5's on order) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />. Thanks to Shaolin (sp) for keeping this prybar with a sharpened edge so very clean for me. Crap when I figure out how to lay out a pic I will. Oh well y'all know what they look like. BTW, the rainwalder sheath is super sweet, black leather pancake. Other than the fact I am left handed it would be great. I guess it will work when I have the FN 5-7 on my left hip. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

thanks guys, I had been looking real hard at the S6 for my overall user but I always came back to the Mutt, just the overall look and I love the Basic type handles. Plus everything I have read/heard concerning this knife put me over the edge. I probably paid a little much but with the sheath I don't think I did too bad. I will never sell this monster it is just too cool.

man, congrats on THE BEST knife Dan has ever man. the boys here know me and my love for the DMCG. Aint nuttin like this blade. the absolute perfect military/combat knife, bar none!!!! that penetrator tip with the .285 inch thick blade is bad to the bone!!!! you cant kill this knife!!!!

Congrats! The original DMCG is sweet, it was my first Scrap Yard too. I highly suggest the SOD, Scrap Yard version of the Camp Tramp.
