I saw that when the thread was brought back to the top. I recognized the Reg right away but the comment I quoted from Dan was from 24/05/10 07:07 PM about a comment a few hours earlier.

Tom, with your experience here at the yard, does Dan give hints about upcoming releases?

I am VERY lucky!!! My <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" />proxy<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> has agreed to grab a new release for me and I can square up at a later date (like when I'm allowed to come back in from the dog house). <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

In the past, and at the last minute, Dan usually posts a picture of two of what will be available at Blade. I actually wish that he would do this a little earlier so that folks can line up proxies with their wish lists. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

Well that's cool. I didn't think there would be any heads up. Hopefully I can get my DF and Mutt. A new release is an added bonus!!

Yeah.......I really liked the knife and bought more than one of each model plus scored in the Gnazas on the LEs <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/paperbag.gif" alt="" />. Not too big on the MIL overuns and will probably let those go as soon as my agreement is up- or might just strip em and convex them <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. But- I was hoping for SOMETHING-ANYTHING new at Blade <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />. I don't want any more old Swamp releases or variants- just something Busse comes out with that is new and exciting <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. I was kinda waiting for Blade and thinking it was going to be a big surprise <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />. That way I can get $$$$ to my proxy folks and get steel on the way. Dan has hinted several times at a special project in the works that hopefully will be ready for Blade <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowdown.gif" alt="" /> I'll take 3, or 34, OK maybe 5
