No. I will just keep all of them. It will be bad, just like after I trim my beard or get a haircut. I will go into a funk that may be unhealthy for a man of my age. I'm putting them all back in the box. I will have some steel with me, but no Busse-made choppers. They are like gold.....gold I say!

I have so many choppers. Lord help me, I just love them. Bowies, too. So I have been culling them, or trying to. They all have their charm. So far, about all I have been able to do is decide the ones I will not part with. These are my keepers. My bag of steel will not have these beauties.

So now I'm looking at my SODLE, Camp Tramp, Chopweiler, Ratweiler, M6, ASH-1s. How can I cut any of these from my treasure box? I will decide tonight.

The ones you are keeping are HARD to part with for sure, but I would have to keep my Camp Tramp. My Camp Tramp is one of my PRIMARY mid/large users. I would ditch that Monster HEAVY FATFBM before I let go of my Camp Tramp... But, to each their own.

The SODLE and Camp Tramp create some duplicates of sorts. I never got the SODLE knowing it would never really replace my Camp Tramp and since funds were/are tight. But, I am very glad it was released for so many people that needed an option who don't have the Camp Tramp.

Same with the Chopweiler and Ratweiler - they are somewhat duplicating each other. But, in many ways the NMSFNO does negate both the Chopweiler and Ratweiler and is an upgrade in many ways over both. But, I will have a hard time letting my Chopweiler go. In any event, I can appreciate the NMSFNO replacing a Ratweiler or Chopweiler, but I don't see my NMSFNO replacing my Camp Tramp. The Camp Tramp is SO much lighter and so different in enough ways, I don't compare the two.

I was never a fan of the the M6. I sold mine long ago.

The Skinny ASH has always been a tough one for me. I like it a lot in some ways, but in other ways I keep finding myself reaching for other options like my Camp Tramp, SARSquatch and SJTAC (?????) Tough calls.

I have the G10 two tone tan/black Skinny ASH and I never wanted the G10 version. But, when I finally scrapped enough funds, that was all that was in the store. I "Assumed" the micarta had sold out and hastilly ordered the G10. I think it is sort of ugly personally. I don't like the tan/black mix and I think micarta feels nicer than the G10 on the Skinny ASH. Sure enough, after I received my G10 Skinny ASH, Skunk put up more micartas. Not only did I not like the looks of the tan/black G10, but I wasn't happy about paying $40 more either. I would have WAY rather saved the $40.

..... Luckily, I do like the black G10 on the M9LE.... But, Black linen might have been better (????)

Good luck with those heart-breaking decisions!

..... Think TWICE and again on Sunday about selling that Camp Tramp!!!

No way is the FFBM going. It is my #1 log splitter! It is the chopper from Hades.

SOD LE and Camp Tramp??? Two of the knives I so desperately want. If I had those suckers, there's no way you would get me to sell them.

The Camp Tramp and the SoDLE... you have to keep at least one of those. Personally, I would have to pick the Tramp as the light midsized king. Personally, I have kept 1 of each.

The Chopweiler and Ratweiler.. you have to keep at least one of those. If I had to pick between them I would have to pick the Ratweiler. Personally, I have kept 1 of each.

The M6 I would sell as it is very heavy for the blade length.

The ASH-1, I kept my ASH1LE (#1) and the HogASH1 (with my Hog name on it) and sold the CG and the Skinny. At the same length I like the straight handle SJ and DJ better.

I don't think I could part with any of my knives.

If I were being logical, I'd just keep the mid-sized winner, the NMSFNO. But the Resiprene C handled knives carry so much lighter and they chop almost as well as the big Busse.

You really don't need that NMSFNO.

Now you're messing with me, snotpig! You know I have been all over the internet singing its praises! Not for sale!
