I definitely won't make it to the dinner - I'm working tomorrow and having dinner with my new boss. I am about 95% sure I won't even get to go back to the show at all this weekend, which is a huge bummer - but I spent so much cash today that it's probably better if I don't experience any more temptation <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />

I am in on a Regulator if the guard changes. Then again, what are some of the things that can go wrong with the current Res-C guard? Lets hear it.

I don't plan to get into any knife fights, so the guard issue wouldn't be much of an issue to me.

I look forward to hearing how folks feel about them. They look good, but 1/3-inch seems awfully thick to me. I kind of liked the way things were evolving with the skinny/boney releases -- I slice with a knife more than I pry, although as I've noted, I'm no camper.

I'm definitely a fan of skinny knives. The new little Vex blades from the swamp are nice and thin, with a full convex zero edge. I like them quite a lot - they seem like they will make great great slicers.
