I had a huge time. I was out drinking by the fountain with some hogs until 3:30 am Saturday, and last night until after 2:00. I am so out of shape for these binges. But I am still unpacking and I found another knife I got. It's a black handled Bird Dog. I love these things.

All I can say is, if you're a knife lover, try to make Blade sometime. Yes it is a little expensive and all, but it is the Mecca of knife shows. It was a blast.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

got a great deal on 2 sheaths last minuet from Mr.David Brown for my NMFBM & BDLE
and he through in a nifty little challenge coin holder that can attach to a sheath

[Linked Image from i234.photobucket.com]

got me DOZIER "K-28 PERSONAL" to go with the "K2 SKINNER" i picked up at BLADE last year.here's the PERSONAL on top with the SKINNER on bottom.

here's a DOZIER sheath for those that arent familiar.

got a 2nd CW for my son

[Linked Image from i234.photobucket.com]

and this aluminum housing type device for a SHARPIE marker to be used as a blunt force type weapon.my dads always looking for something he can get on a plane so i grabbed it for him.

and i pre-ordered one of these

i was kind of disappointed.i went to the show specifically for what swamprat was offering and for a new DOZIER.i didnt find the DOZIER i was looking for and the prices where higher.

as far as swamprat goes i was really hoping for a M9LE or even a M9CG and i was looking forward to the stainless "slicers" eric mentioned but wasnt really crazy about those little D2 knives they offered although they where a good deal.to me they just seemed almost thrown together in a rush for the show.something about them just lacked substance for me.maybe this is why they dont think they will be releasing those in the store.

the swamprat sword is a complete home run, incredible and i cant wait to get it.i wasnt sure what i thought about the regulator or whatever its called but then regreted not grabbing one the whole 18 hour long ride home and still do now.that is one THICK [censored] knife.impressive.

wasnt interested in any of the INFI i saw.

had a short but nice conversation with rainwalker.good dude.

walked in the show doors friday at 2 when they opened and drove home at 7 when it closed.

honestly the only reason i bought anything was because i hated the idea of driving 1,000 miles and going home empty handed.i needed something to fondle on the 18 hour ride home besides myself....lol.

bummed out i missed out on the crash axes though for sure.can never get enough of those at original costs.the CW is one of my favorite knives of all time so i thought i'd grab one for the boy.

still had a good time looking around, glad i went and look forward to next year.

I was tempted to get an extra bird dog for myself - I like that black handle an awful lot, but with everything else I bought I figured it was time to stop. I wouldn't have minded snagging an extra Vex, either.

and three I'm not allowed to talk about

"Three" ?????? - I thought there were only two secret blades. Did you get double on one? Or were there three secret blades?

JYD #39 I prefer "SATIN" blades!!!

We can only speak of these on the secret "test team" forum.
