I only got the one, and plan on using it. I've carried it on a couple hikes but never needed to use it and the folks I went hiking with weren't down with sitting around while I beat on the thing. I haven't had an opportunity to put it through it's paces, and that's my own fault. I'm not worried about the Scrap Yard team not getting my notes, I'm sure what my limisted experience has to say is not going to be very helpful anyway. I was just excited for the opportunity to get a pretty sweet new blade.

Can I ask why "December"?

Ah! Right. Well, like i said, I like this blade, and I'm not planning on getting rid of it. But you're right, I should get out there and see what this boy can do. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

December is six months from the initial release at BLADE Atlanta, so that's when the first group of "test team" members' agreements will be expiring.

I sent my report in to Dan I think less than a month after getting the knife. I've used it since then but my initial impressions haven't changed.

I've actually had such a constant rotation of new steel coming in that I've not used the regulator as much as I would have liked to. I really dig the knife but I think the fact that I'm not allowed to show pictures has kept me from taking it along as much as I would otherwise. But since getting the Regulator, including stuff I got at the same time at BLADE, in "large knife" sizes, I've gotten a SoD, NMSFNO, Killa Zilla, Desert Dogfather, Mr. Mojo, and the FSH... all of those have gotten their turns to be taken out and used. And now with the possibility of trying to snag a SAR8 and a Bushwhacker, who knows when the regulator will be going out again...

This stuff is addicting <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> I need to camp more often <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

And the rest? Well, we'll let their consciences be their guides. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Oh! Twist that unused Reg a little deeper, why don't ya! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Exactly. I signed an agreement to use it and I have a little. You will have to wait and hear my impressions until December. Or do I hve to wait a little longer since mine was on the second group?

I put mine through quite a few tests. I still have the pictures and narrative. I'll be glad to share it with the yard as soon as Dan says its OK.

Yes, it was all sent to Renee back in August. Due to the number of pictures and size of the narrative I had to send it in 5 parts but Renee sent me a comfirmation that she got it all.
