Well it showed up yesterday like planned and what can I say, everything everyone said about it is true, absolutely a gorgeous blade. It is very elegant for being such a beast and I love it. Here are a couple of pics, more to come a little later

Congrats! One of my favorite knives, from ANY company, and that's saying a lot.

the only negative thing I will say about the blade is when it was released Eric did say it was going to have a zero edge on it and it does not, still sharp but not what I was expecting

I don't really remember the original announcement, so I never saw the zero edge thing - still, it's one of the sharpest knives I've ever gotten from the factory. Probably the only thing I've ever seen come sharper was my original Spyderco Endura a decade ago.

I'll agree with this. I was expecting a zero edge because that's what was announced. And this isn't it. That said, it's my favorite knife right now, zero or not.

Nice score, SB! I'm kinda kicking myself for not getting that one, but I feel okay since I have a DFCG and DFLE. I would have had to sell one of those to justify an M9. Engineering school just doesn't provide much time for earning money. Oh well!

As for the zero edge, it's advertised as such right on the Swamp's web site.

Enjoy your new knife, SB!

Congrats SB. That's just a great looking knife. The knife/sheath combo looks very cool.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what a "zero edge" is, but I thought it was convex. If I'm wrong... somebody correct me?
