Hey guys, have we been billed for the S5's already, or do our cards get charged sometime before shipping out? This might sound like I silly question...but I can't remember! Thanks

If you paid by credit card, it will be billed right before shipping..
If you paid by paypal, they already have your money.

Renee will, in all probability, give us a heads up when they are getting close to charging the cards, that is what we use for an indication that our blades are getting ready to ship out.
That said.... are we almost there yet Renee <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

Shipping is supposed to be 4 to 6 weeks after the day the S5 comes down off
of the site. It came down sometime this week. I don't know the exact day
it came down, so for sake of argument if we say it came off the site on
Wednesday, then we could get notification and CC billing as early as the
first week of July.

Wish I could help but I use postal mo. I just send them in when I am able and then when the knife is ready to shop it is there ready to go. I like doing it this way.

I wonder if it would ever be possible to set up an account with the company
whereby you make an automatic monthly deposit of say $50 or $100, and they
just automatically send you every new knife that gets made <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
At the end of the year, totals could be added up and you would either get a
refund or have to pay (just like taxes) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Of course, it goes without saying, that any refund would only be available
as credits towards future purchases... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
Wouldn't that be nice <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

That's not a bad idea. But I think at that point they might find themselves considered a "depository institution" or whatever the term is, and banking law might end up applying. I am quite sure that's a whole bunch of headaches that Dan doesn't need.

well I know my company has a christmas fund acct that I can deposit money into and pull from, it comes right out of my check so I supposed I could set that up as my knife acct. I am getting ready to make myself a piggy bank and cut out a picture of the Waki and put it on it, that will be a reminder for me then I will throw $25-$30/week in it and I should have the funds put together by the time it is ready for charging....
