There was an extended discussion about the Outcast in Bladeforums a few weeks ago. Cliff Stamp posted several times, among others. Here's the link if you're interested:

Thanks bld, I went back and read all the posts. Mine chops fine (all the knives in this comparison do), and I really like the handle, but it came in dead last.
The Ontario Bowie will out chop it, as will the cheap Colt. That doesn't make it a bad knife. It just doesn't chop as well as the others for some reason. I was surprised, myself. This is the first time I have actually used all these knives back to back.

Hmmmmm. Maybe Cliff's on to something.
Oh my gosh! You mean Cliff and I agree? Will wonders never cease. Cliff gets into all the edge geometry and metalurgy. I just chop.

HD keep chopping and posting, until Cliff gets round to abusing the yard line you're doing just fine! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Not quite, Paul. Andy is the Yard Test Official Knife Abuser. I just chop, mostly. Well, ok, I do eventually throw all of them at least once at a tree. Maybe baton a little.

Thanks Jaislandboy, I like it here except the heat of the Summer can just sap my energy. I like to do my chopping when it is cooler, but some has to be done in Summer. In the Summer, its a machete marathon! I threw DF from about 8 yards or so. Didn't measure.
