This is a little premature - but - I've got this band... "Come Up Swinging." Just 4 guys that get together like... once or twice a month. Anyways, we checked some recording levels today since the drummer couldn't make the practice, and posted it up on Myspace. This isn't even demo quality - we were just figuring out how to record w/ our new 8track recorder. And, again, there aren't any drums! We're not even thinking about gigging any time soon - nothing like that. The song is chocked full of glaring mistakes and the levels aren't very good. But. Thought you guys might want to take a look.

This is younger generation kind of stuff - I'm not going to claim that we have any talent!

I'm just playing some guitar on this one - no vocals this time. And the guitar levels are too low... and my distortion needs tweeked. Anyways, listen at your own risk!

Yeah - its a Boss Metalzone COPY. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I sold all of my good gear years ago... gonna snatch up a little Marshall 2x12 I think and a better distortion. Levels are way off though. We have a good time - no pipe dreams of fame or anything, just getting together and making lots of noise!

Has an almost RATM sound too. I like it!

There's another guitar in the background as well - it really doesn't come through at all because the mixing was garbage!

Thanks! The rest of our stuff sounds VERY different - we haven't settled on a style at all. This is the least melodic song we've got - the rest has a lot more vocal and instrumental harmonies, and isn't as "in your face."

Rage and Ramstein... I'll take it as a compliment! I'll ressurrect this thread once we actually post a full demo song or two on the site.

iw as specifically gonna say "i hear metalzone" but it coulda been a dod or a maxed ds-1, md-2, there's a ton of copies. that little sound bite at th beginning from halflife?

I have odd tastes in music as well.
