Does it make sense to have a sheath made for the left side, if you CCW right hand? Is that how you carry a knife and pistol?
I have a (?)older, thick, crude, QuarterMaster(?) knife, unmarked, that has a left hand sheath. At first I thot it was for a lefty. Now I wonder if someone wore left hand sheaths if they were right handed and slung their rifle over their right shoulder. Make sense?

Makes sense to me. I see where you are coming from with all the stuff on the right/left side and getting caught up. I know I am thinking of getting a Ruger Red Hawk with a 4" brl for a camp/trail revolver and pair it up with my M9LE and HCLE for the ultimate survival gear per say. I think that a cross draw for the revolver and a dangler sheath would be a great set-up.

Edit: I cannot seem to get the pic to work... The Scrap Yard forum software doesn't like a lot of stuff to be in image URLs. Question marks are on that list of stuff.

Here is what I do. Pistol on the left (shoot left-handed), and SJTAC on the right (use a knife right-handed, luckily), with a couple of extra mags.
It's in a IWB kydex sheath.

Chuddy Bear. Top notch stuff. So pretty that you have to convince yourself to use it once it comes.
Once you do you really see the quality behind it.
I got a Rainwalker on the way for my SODLE. Cannot wait to check it out as well.

What I also thot about was how high or low should it sit. Ohio does not allow CCW for a knife, only a pistol. So then it would have to be med-low so that the sheath would be exposed below a untucked T. I would think that if the sheath was below the T-shirt, that it would not be considered concealed. Any thots?

^ it can be confusing.....here in BC, if i wear a fixed blade hidden in my clothes, thats considerd concealed and illegal. Yet one can wear a fixed blade on their belt, and if their winter coat covers it, its not considered concealed

That's how I carry, but I am a lefty. Pistol on the left, small fixed blade on the right right behind spare magazine. Been doing that for years, it works well.
