The future is clear - science married to fiction is reality.

Oh, nice.

Someone else said this, but I like it a lot...

What happened to the paranoid guy?

Nothing. He was prepared.

In all seriousness, these are some very cool experiments. The fact that the mine was used previously for Nobel-prize-winning neutrino experiments is just icing on the cake.

Yea black matter is pretty neat stuff. I just go the raccoon city visual grid in my head when I read it.

I couldn't possibly disagree any more strongly, imaginefj, but as I'm incredibly passionate about that topic, my temper starts to flare up pretty easily when I discuss it, so I'll just agree to disagree and be on my way

As the old saying goes,"Knowledge is power."

As someone who believes there is a balance to the world, and the universe surrounding it, I truly believe in the possibility of a dark matter, that we have yet to discover. No one believed in atoms until they were discovered, and yet they existed the whole time, even when we weren't aware of them.

I could go on and on about it, but I think you get my point.

However, there is another saying,"Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

My question is,"Have we, as a species, evolved enough to responsibly handle something as potentially powerful as dark matter?" From what I've read up on this, we're talking about the building material of the universe, the very primal stuff of creation itself. Can we truly say that we have matured enough to trust ourselves with such a devastating power? I can humbly and honestly say that I don't think we are anywhere near that level yet, not when we have amongst us personages who only care for their own well being and financial affluence.

Just my two cents on the matter... no pun intended.

I can accept dark matter, voodoo, time travel, evolution, creation, regular matter, and all that stuff. But I just don't believe in some Racoon City.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.
