It will fit the S5, but the sheath will be much bigger than the knife. I use my 6" sheath for my SOD.

Not so well from mine I'd say. The Mudder is much thiner than the Res-C we are used to on models of stature.

I already ordered mine in Brown Kydex to match my Brown/Brown knife.

Praises to the Scrap Yard folks for allowing us to choose the color combos to suit our collections and taste!

Peace.

You could always get one of these:

Not quite as cheap as the cordura, but a pretty darn good value if you get them without the sharpening stone pocket like I did.

Just email Harry and tell him what you want. The turnaround time was pretty quick after I placed my order, too - although I wouldn't be surprised if he's a little extra busy now that S5's are coming out and I'm pimping his sheaths

I like yours without the sharpening stone pocket. Wonder if he can make them with the little fire striker pouch? How does he know what size to make them without having the knife yet, guess if you got the dimensions of the blade its not too hard to figure it out. I'll email him, thx MM.

I picked up some crazy cheap generic pouch sheaths from a leather booth at BLADE - I decided to wet-mold one of them to my Mud Puppy tonight, since all this talk of sheaths reminded me of it. It looks pretty good right now - we'll see how it is in the morning.

They have a website at http://greenriverleather.net/ but there's not much information on there. I think I paid 15 bucks a sheath at the show.

Looking to make a kydex rigged for crossdrawing myself but I'll have to see once they get here and get a feel for where I want them.
The leathers that MM has look like the deal if you like the skins. Very sweet.

I ordered a 6" nylon for my S5. I imagine it will fit - I hope it will fit, though I'm guessing it wont be a great fit.

I just wanted to make sure I had something day 1.

I also ordered one of the kydex 6 inchers from the store, hoping it would fit or could be adapted.
If not I can always put my Scrapper 6 LE in it.
Win-Win!

There's an ebay store that has 6" and 8" Spec Ops sheaths going out at the moment for around $28USD at the moment. I think the RRP is quite a bit higher and most of the places I've seen online have also priced them higher.
I think they are discontinued colours, but they had black, tan and OD when I looked.
If you search for "spec ops sheath" I reckon you'll find them.
