Love to see a head to head test when the S5 lands later in the week. I haven't regretted selling much, but the RMD- big time. I think the S5 is gonna make me feel much much better!

The S5 should be a good replacement for the Ratmandu. I'll do a comparison when I can my S5.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I still think the RMD is the best Busse-kin blade made to date !

It's the same material, it may feel a little softer due to the texture, but it's still quite firm -- shock absorbing but firmer and less "sticky" than Kraton.

I like the design but haven't found a handle from Busse or SW that feels comfortable in my hand. I guess I'm just a little spoilled from handling all of the Scrap Yards with the Res-C grips.

The best non-scrapyard handle I've held is the hand-shaped linen micarta on my NMSFNO. Some of the others definitely aren't very comfortable to hold, but that hand shaped smoothness feels oh so good. Maybe not res-c good, but good.

Interesting. I don't really like the handle on my NMSFNO a whole lot, myself. I may be weird or something, but my favorite handle is the TAC handle with magnums. It just feels best in my hand.

I am a big fan of the SWKW M9 handle and the RMD/ HRLM handles, but ResC is hard to beat when it comes to comfort.

Is yours the hand shaped? I picked up and held some of the machined micarta handled NMSFNO's at BLADE and didn't like them nearly as much.

I'm not a big fan of the NMSFNO handle either, it doesn't feel balanced to me. I do like the Fusion handles on the battle mistress and steel hearts and the TAC handles for Busses. The resin-C handles are really comfortable handles and are my favorite.
