I just ordered a Spec-Ops Combat master sheath (big one) for my SOD and it failed to fit. ARGH!!! The blade is too wide to fit into the sheath. I know there are a few sheath makers out there and would like to see what you guys came up for your SOD sheath solutions. BTW, thanks again MustardMan for the Tan SOD!!! I will get out and thump on it as soon as I get a rig for it.

Here's what I use. Glad you like the SOD - make sure you beat her good. I sharpened up the other one last week and am waiting for an opportunity (weather below 90 degrees) to put it to the test.

The 6" sheath at the company store fits the SOD nicely.

What I like about my Rainwalker Kydex is that I can change the tek-lok to wear the knife horizontally on the hip belt of my pack. As seen in this photo:

This is the DMDC, but same basic sheath design as the one for my SOD.

Is the Tek Lock stable on the kydex sheaths? It is odd to me that they are only fastened on one side.

The kydex is pretty rigid - the teklok fastened on only one side feels plenty strong.

Did u try steaming or heating up the plastic liner in the spec ops sheath? It should make it expand and fit the plastic liner of the spec ops sheath perfect.

Good idea,I have seen a couple of guys cut the spine side out of the top half of the liner as well.
