I just got my new open spine sheath for my Regulator from David Brown. Very nice fit, finish, and design. I went outside to do some chopping but the heat was too much. L to R, BB sheath,Rainwalker Dundee rig,3 Scrapyard sheaths, and Mashed Cat sheath w/Rainwalker kydex drop loop.

sweet sheath. Does it have a belt loop or tek-lok?

It's hot and humid here.

Nice collection, cp. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Nice sheath! I'm thinking of contacting him for one of the open spine versions.

Tek-lok. I am more of a belt loop type.

It looks awesome. I've never had a tek-lok, though.

It looks like it rides high. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I'm in a high-ride phase right now. I find it easier to sit (and not sit on the knife <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />) and move about without the knife in constant contact with my leg.

I'm not much of a tek-lok fan, especially on large knives, but with the open spine, it's easy to draw a large knife, even if it is riding high.

I still probably want to pick up a couple of those nylon drop loops with the plastic buckle for quick connect.

It does ride high, the entire handle is above the belt line in the current setup.

IIRC, I had a problem with the Tek Loc and a thick Filson belt. Not a BB sheath, a generic one. That spineless looks nice. Just the thing for a bigger knife.
