My two all time favs are :
Royce Gracie- You could put anyone in front of him and he would wrap them up like a human python. Its just sick the stuff he does.
Chuck Liddel- The guy would just prowl around the whole time looking for the knock out(to bad it happened to him) You never knew when he would catch someone. Also he has very very good ground skills although he always leaned toward the knock out. If you doubt me check out his fight against Tito Ortiz (also cool) one of the best at ground and pound. He could never get Chuck down. the guy is totally anti take down.

My favorite fighters have to be:
1) Gina Carano
2) Randy Couture
3) Lyoto Machida
4) Tito Ortiz (especially when he's going to fight Ken Shamrock)
5) Fedor Emelianenko Ortiz? Pffft. I really wanted to see Ortiz & Dana White box. Machida's good. I forgot Machida.... I wanted to see that, too. But I don't like Tito because I think he's one of the best. I never even liked him until he did the coaching stint on the show. That reversed my opinion of him, as well as my opinion of Ken Shamrock. Tito's heart was in the right place. And he really knows how to push Shamrock's buttons. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Shamrock's a tool. Always has been. Heh heh, I said "has-been". Tito irks me. He used to disrespect Lidell. Heck he disrespected everyone...and not in a good way. Now he's with that skank who weighs 17# and he just looks like a total dork when they're at events. I can't be down with "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" I'll agree with you on that. Tito pretty much disrespected everybody. But I sure like to see him make Ken Shamrock mad.

The reason is, he uses them to avoid being taken down, and get back to his feet right away on the rare occasion he IS taken down. But once everybody figured out his game, and made HIM go to THEM, they started beating him.

Actually, Rickson Gracie is even better than Royce. Royce has admitted it in many interviews. Rickson was/is the true bada$$. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
