I got my handgun certificate, time to go shopping!! I've been picking up as many shifts as I can at work for this.

The CZ has a good rep and is pretty much the same price as the Glocks. I won't know what I'll end up with exactly until I shoot them. I was looking into XD-9 but they don't make a compact model. I want to get one good one I really like first and go from there based on my preference as I get better.

They do have a compact...but regardless shoot several and then decide. Tolly mentioned his wife carries an M&P compact that is really nice.

Good evening. Is anybody around?

I have some time to share, while I transfer data, in preparation for my trip, tomorrow.

What iron? You going to prime first? Owning a house, (actually me and the bank own it) is a great feeling. Lots of work tho.

Its an iron fence with shrubs behind it. No primeing, just slapping a coat on it to cover the fading. I've only partially finished the gate and it looks much better.

Later I am going to sand down the front door and repaint it too. Actually, I will sand and prep it and my bro-in-law will shoot a few coats on it for a smoother finish.

The only thing I don't like re: the CZ is the safety. Same with Beretta. It is not needed. Another brick in the wall. Another step. Glock has a constant pound pull, (?) between shots, SIG has either DA?SA or DAK, just depends on what you like. I don't like safeties. Revolvers don't need them.

Like knives, you will end up knowing what you like.

I would really like a Sig P229 Elite or something like the Sig P220 Carry SA but in 9mm, but that doesn't exist.
