I was in on an earlier ganza and scored everything I wanted. This time I actually think I responded faster but who knows.

Even weirder. This time it said "You are not logged in", but when I clicked "Login" it brought me to my user home. It wasn't letting me reply to anything nor remembered what threads I'd read.

I nuked the cookie, let's see if sanity returns. Computers really irritate me sometimes.

In other news, it's way too hot here. In the mid to high 80's Fahrenheit for the last week. I know that's lightweight by some of your standards (looking at Horn Dog and his murky marshland), but by New England standards it's pretty miserable. I could definitely go for a nice autumn day in the 50's about now.

Me too Momaw. Wait, you said Autumn. That's winter for us.
We have hit 120 these past few weeks, but now it's dropped to a cool 108.
I have forgotten what cold water feels like.

The heat isn't so much the problem - it's the freaking humidity.

Some days I leave the house in the morning, and I think about taking a kayak to work instead of my car. There's so much moisture in the air it feels like I could paddle the 15 miles.

I was very tempted to pick up a couple DF's... but at the end of the day I don't really "want" them. I understand it's a great knife, but I'd rather save up for what I really want.

Of course I said that the day before I got on the Regulator test team, so maybe I'm an idiot.

No I'm not, the Reg was worth it!

Humidity is a killer. Literally.
We've had way too many deaths this year.
2 hikers died a couple of weeks ago. 3 had to be rescued.
I don't know the tally so far this year, but heat is nature's number one weather killer.

40 degrees Celcuis on my block right now.

and just got out of a strata meeting. I would rather be dragged down a logging road than ever go thru another strata meeting
