What part of Florida you coming to Clint? It is hot and humid lately but if you'll be by the beaches then it shouldn't be too bad.

The thing is, I wouldn't be getting it for taking stills (even though it's freaking 12 megapixels). The GH1 is the fist DSLR that shoots true 1080p HD video at 24 frames per second (as apposed to 30 fps like the others on the market.) All for half the price of the "others". That is probably why it's hard to find any for sale right now! It's a way for me to switch to shooting HD and being able to use 35mm lenses on such a small package and for so much cheaper than buying a nice HD video camera.
