well i use peanut butter to cook with.... thinned out in soups used as bases for pastes... its rather handy stuff... same with sesme and cashew butters. try a table spoon or two in some ramen some time lol.

as for organic.... im no body builder.... and most the time organic is bs. but i like it cause i can grind it at the store... i might have to mix my peanut butter but it tastes better..... all those volitile chemicals that make pop corn so good outta the popper etc. I also like local produce farmers markets are my grocery store most the time for my weekly stuff. i can pick up a better selection of stuff thats good for you at a slight price hike, but much fresher once you learn how to spot the fauds just selling distributor stuff. This year im working on my garden to go in next year and seeing about a green house and taking more local food production home etc.

the quality of your dinner starts at the vine. if you get good stuff before your start you can save yourself foot work trying to cover it up or having to throw it out.

i havnt done it in a while but i also like home brewing... best beer good price and you have a quality assurance of whats in it. and pride.

I am 58 yaers old and can tell you that most young folks simply abuse their body and pay for it later <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbdn.gif" alt="" />. Most guys my age can't even stay with me for my 5 mile jog at 5 AM much less the rest of my workouts or play for that matter <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" /> !! There are some guys on here like mag- tyger etc that are a real inpiration as they eat good and work out very hard <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />!! Great to see you guys are taking care of the important stuff in life and aren't eating junk and being a lard butt <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />. You guys are great !! oh i havnt figured it out, and i only walk a couple miles a day. but i figure if i keep working on it , it will pay me back later...i also just like really good food. i did the whole early 20s eat any thing do nothing thing for a while... i cant run. and every day i try to make little changes and stick to the changes i have till there habits...i watched my dad slowly go down hill for most my life... so im really trying to keep my modivation up to avoid what he went threw.

I'm fairly active, so despite the fact that I've got a beer gut, and I eat lots of junk, I'm actually in better shape now than when I was 18 years old and 60 pounds lighter. I've slowly adjusted my diet to eat LESS junk than I used to, but for me to go cold turkey on junk after living in Philadelphia for five years and eating cheese fries or cheesesteaks for lunch every day.... well, that's probably harder than a smoker giving up cigarettes <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" />

oh and i cant run because i had a child hood injury. and at 25 needed a new hip. but i try to look at the bright side of that. i got upgrades slowly becoming a cyborg. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> . atleast my new parts are made of some tough stuff. mainly cobalt chrome and titanium.

why you think i make so many flowers.... the girlies eat em up. and its a pretty good ice breaker, i have left em as tip before when i was flat broke on the road. and picked up a little cuties at the local watering hole once or twice with the "yea im a glass blower wanna come over and see me work" line
