Since balisong's were mentioned in a thread. I could only hope that Bussekin would come out with one! I would be in for a couple to say the least.

On flashlights,
I have a Surefire G2Z (aluminum head) with a Cree 5 upgrade. It is putting out 220 lumens for a decent distance about a 100 yds + in city light enviornment. In fact, it is on my go to Colt 6921, but I really want something a little less bright, maybe in the 130 lumen, to use in the house on confined areas. 220 lumens bouncing off a white wall will put some hurt on your night vision (human eye night vision). I unfortunately live in a state where hunting at night is a no go especially with night vision optic. If I lived in TX, I would be all over it!

No complaints here. Went out fishing for a bit but didn't catch a thing.

Did however see a nice black bear waddle across the road as well as determine the moose is back with a calf this year (and by back, I mean right in town! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />)

How did your trip go?

Cool. I wanna see the pics.

I experienced A LOT of bad luck on my trip, but still had a lot of fun, and came back with plenty of decent pictures.

Back luck puts the adventure in a trip! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Glad that it sounds like it was still successful.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any decent shots of the moose. Was just at dusk, lighting was poor so I just enjoyed the sight.

Always an enjoyable sight (though it was a bit too close for comfort when I came around a bend and was face to face with a big bull moose, on the hike to Solitude Lake in Grand Tetons).

Face to face with a big bull moose - now THAT would be a little "hairy"! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
