lately i been picking up the shun onion series , they are by far the most amazing kitchen knives i have and that includes several henkles and shun , and other larger scale makers..... there comfy tough , sharp as a laser.... and i been getting a deal on em....
I just bought a Henckels 3” paring knife today at Goodwill for $.20. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Some of my favorites that I have are Henckels, Case XX, Victorinox, and Chicago Cutlery. All of them bought at Goodwill super cheap. I bought a wooden butcher block of Case XX knives with a ceramic sharpener for $7. Also several blocks of Chicago Cutlery knives for $6, and all the various individual knives for $.20 to $.69. Here’s the only pic I have on file. The big one is a 14” blade Victorinox, (good melon knife) and the smaller ones are Case XX. All for $.30 each. I go to 4-5 different Goodwills every week, and always check the knives.
