Only sports I'm actively involved in are those that get me outdoors and away from the city - backpacking, rock climbing, canoeing... one advantage of caring less about football this season is that I will spend many more Sundays out in the Appalachian foothills rock climbing.

i did watch the knife guys on home shopping the other day really 500 blades a sword for 100 bucks , that must be some quality blades..... so yea tv isnt that great....

I like most history channel or discovery programs, some cartoons. But everything else is either boring or just unwatchable crap.

I'm embarrassed to admit I have a sword I bought from one of those tv shopping knife shows many years ago. Actually it's a set of three swords. With snakeskin wrapped around the scabbards. I wish I was making this up. I think it was like 80 bucks for all three <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> I should gather up all that goofy fantasy crap I bought back in high school and put it on the bladeforums exchange for a laugh. I even have some United Cutlery Gill Hibben fantasy blades in 420J2 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/footinmouth.gif" alt="" />

I've been bouncing between Germany and Iraq for the last four years now and every time i come home on leave there is another crappy TV show that outdoes its previous brethrin on how utterly pointless it is.

i had a few of gils , a war bird dagger and a raptor signed by him... he made cool knives and when i was 18 they were awsome....
i have destoryed most of my stuff like that long ago mm lol.....
lol thats still funny though you should atleast take a picture of you dressed as a ninja lab tech
