OK Noss, I just didn't want you to be the only one footing the bill with the public and makers the only ones reaping the benefits.

No. I'm not footing the bill all myself anymore. People have been more than generous and have donated knives from their personal collection and some cash. The knife I really went into the hole on was the SOG seal 2000 underwater D-test. That one cost me over 5 grand to put together but it was a fun one.

Thanks

I'm still in search of my "perfect blade" I haven't found it nor can I make it, that tells me I'm either just plain addicted, or just a hard to please sob

LOL !! I also fell in the tank during a repair. It only had about 1 inch of water in it. I fell 8 feet to the bottom on my back. I broke 4 ribs two back bones and punctured a lung. I was in the hospital for 4 days and it took about 8 weeks to recover. Oh yeah it was a fun one. It was in the end anyways.

I was going to test a Swamp Rat a while back. A person was going to sell me one at very low cost but I was putting all my money into the seal test. So I didn't buy it. I'm sure I'll get to testing a Swamp Rat at some point down the line.

LOL !! Thanks. I was lucky. I had and have full insurance so it didn't cost me anything money wise.I've never been hurt during a test just preparing for one. I've banged my hands a few time with the hammer but nothing serious.

somberbear: Thanks. It was hard to talk in the mask more than anything. You have to fight the pressure on the regulator as you speak. I had to practice underwater a lot and record myself before I got it down.

Forget moving it around... figure out which furniture you're gonna chop up with your knives
