I have the micarta handles on my HEST - the removable ones.

I also have the Becker necker. Going to take one of the neckers with me hiking in the smokies along with a SY knife and my EDC folder.

I've been collecting for a few years now, just when i think im done, or say i am, boom i start all over.

I like the becker necker a lot. The handle is a bit short, but it's a handy little knife. It also throws a lot of sparks when I sharpen it, so that looks cool <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

yea me too knot slip but i had to wrap it up atleast once.... i love the storage in the handle.... and it makes it nice and balanced..... been working on a little kit based around it lately....

Yea i need to do a fall cleaning around here so i can orgonize my safe.... i got a nice large security cabnet too... but it needs some orgonization and work too...

MM get a hest.... i liked it over my brothers becker a whole lot....

Yall just need to bend your own kydex. Its cheap and not THAT hard to do, as long as you dont expect it to look as nice as what the pros make. I don't keep my blades nice looking, so I don't care if my sheaths look nice.

I was thinking on that hest, are they pretty handy? i only seen HD's so far

I kinda want to see a magnum mudder grip ... that might be awsome.... i like the hest also cause it fits my meat paws , there a tad on the large side...

You guys think the DM is sufficiently sized for taking hiking/camping? That's the SY knife I was planning on taking with me. I was going to take my Becker BK-2 but then decided i needed to take a SY with me so I chose the DM.

HEST is awesome little knife FC. I recommend it.

MM- do you have a RAT Izula? If not, you should grab one- they are nice little neckers.
