Wiki-17hmr check the data out on em.... and my fav round outta the 17hmr so far is the hornady vmax 20gr.

I load the Hornadys A-max in the .308 and those are sweet rounds, the v max i looked at the specs with my ballistic computer, pretty good results, makes me want one a lot.

there are faster zippier rounds out , but for the cost , and compactness , i think the 17hmr does well.... and its common enough ammo... what you really have to work on with it is shot placement....
