One thing I learned when I had my homebrew supply shop was that you can't tell anybody what a good beer is. If somebody likes Coors Light, then they should buy it, because it is just about impossible for a home brewer to make a lager that light that is fit to drink. Pale Ales are easy. I am not terribly fond of those funky Belgian ales that are all the rage, but if that is what somebody else likes, then it is a good beer to them. If I want a good hearty beer, I buy Sam Adams Boston Lager. To me, that is about as good as beer gets. It must be pretty good, they even export it to Germany. And as we all know, Germans are serious about their beer.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

When i was in philly there was a batch of Fat tire that was excelent... but unfortunatly that beer does not travel well at all...
I like the bells so i drink em, and i avoid a lot of high hop IPAs and bitters still. I still would rather have a beer with my dinner then a glass of wine.
But seriously you buy and make the beer youll drink. Most the time it isnt the price on the bottle its the beer in side i care about.
homebrewing , after reading and learning about it, has helped me appreciate beers in general. and i still like trying new things , but i have found many beers i do enjoy. and the price is only incressing. and if im out drinking with friends at a picnic i still drink pbr....
I love home brewing but its very hard to get the time to do it. but it gives me a lotta pride to drink my own beer... i made myself.

I don't think I'll have the guts to confront anybody with a sword...that's just too close and personal for me.
