I stay up late because I can't sleep.

Which site did you look at? I have my stuff spread around over a few sites. In fact, one of the things I'm working on, right now, is consolidating. the very first one in your sig... the blogspot one. i wish i had a dslr...id love to get into photography

Well, you can get into photography without a DSLR. I wasn't using a DSLR when I got into photography.
It's possible to take nice pictures with a cell phone. What matters is the vision inside you. The tools provide durability and flexibility, but the vision is more important.

i play with my girlfriends D90 whenever i can...i really love the stuff dslr allows with quick adjustability
i was looking at the nikon just below the d90...think its the d 3000
seems to be very good for the price inho, what do you think? ideally id like to get a better lense but i think itd be a good start

I was with someone on Sunday who was shooting a D300, and complaining bitterly about it. Nonetheless, I think it seems like a fine camera.

ah it was the d5000 i was looking at
the D90 i like alot...its expensive to get into but its a lifetime investment.
i like close up shots alot, and shooting scenery.
action sports are another favorite
