It also means having to keep an eye on more than one forum for a "GO" signal when a knife is due to be released. I listen to the Busse guys and it blows my mind. When Busse knives are about to be released, some of them have 3 or 4 screens open on their desktops at once in order to catch and respond to a "GO" from Jerry. AFAIC, it's enough to have to f5 ONE screen repeatedly looking for the "GO".
Some of us old farts have no idea how to even do that!

I found this forum to support the Yard.

BF is a good place and I post on BF now and then.

Keeping up with Dogs over here takes most of what I have, two forums would kill me. Anyway, when would I have time to make knives???

Dan

bld522, your sig line is confusing. 'Course I'm easily confused. Please explain what your inferring to.

I hope its not that old "Busse's are collectors only" poke. The Rats got a Kharmic shot in the arm on that one.

(Bld522 is openly a collector, and not user, of Busse family blades. He mentioned that in his JYD post, and is pretty open about it)

Here's a quote of his:

I recognize that some of my posts have been controversial. I also recognize that I represent a tiny minority of Dogs who primarily enjoy collecting hard-use knives rather than using them. That's OK. There's room for all kinds of Dogs in the Yard. And one thing's for sure. I'm very well armed if and when the zombies decide to attack.

(Hope you don't mind Bld - not like you can't speak for yourself, just wanted to clear that up since I'm on...)

Good to hear. The cross brand war that happend a few years back really caused some rifts between the fans and I just dont want to see it happening again. Its all really redundant when you think about it, they're all made in the same shop, in the same place, on the same equipment.

I'm just attempting to head off the problems before they get out of hand. When it comes down to brass tacks, they're all BUSSE KNIVES!!!!!!
