i got about 2gs tied up in my ar.... but thats cause i like it set up the way it is.... but the ruger... and most the piston ar's out there have major issues.... the ar platform just doesnt support it well... that and it takes a way something really really nice about the ar... the interchangablity of parts......
if you completely redesigned the platform for a piston sure... but yea just pick up a garand or an m14... or even an ak.... like the sig... the sig would be fine cause it was built like an ar but it was pretty much designed that way from the start....
