I am not going to argue that a Glock is more accurate than a P226 either. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

it doesnt matter.... honestly
its what you are comfy carrying ... what works for you... what you are willing to bet your life on... any other argument on what pistol does what or is betters kinda irrelvent ... you get the best you can aford ...
what really really matters is training and practice.... i know a guy with an old cz52 and he can hit nails at 50 with a cheap old gun....

Hello guys Hope all is going on well. Been busy with school, football, wrestling, and tutoring--that is cutting into my SY time, but have to have a way to pay for the next offering!

It's a shame that you don't have anything to do. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Always good to hear from you Jeff! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Now if FNP makes a compact then I'll probably forget about Glock all together. there is the FNP-9m the compact version- mag holds 15 instead of 16 and is a bit shorter

PBoL has the right idea. Variety is the spice of life..I'm partial to SIG's, carried a 239 for years until I switched to a G26. Smaller, holds more rds. and wouldn't kill me if I got it goobered up..But SIG's are my first love..I shoot a 226 in PPC. And find myself enamored by them.. Nothing wrong with any pistol that you like and can shoot well. My brother loves his XD9Sc. To each his own..

I haven't held the XD compact but it looks interesting. I flat out don't like the look of the full size XD. that probably doesn't mean crap about the performance but It doesn't look like my kind of gun. The funny thing about the glock is that i've always liked the look but the grip felt wron in my hand.

oh dont get me wrong i love geeking out with differnt pistols .... but when it came to a choice of takng more classes and a walthers pistol... and a shiny high end kimber.... i took the classes... and the walthers was a gun i could aford and felt right for me to carry. and any pistol i plan to carry i put a few boxes of ammo threw , and check over and over and make sure shes smooth and relaible as she can be.... machines fail... guns are machines... and subject to murphy...

I gotta say Sigs are exceptional firearms. I have more than 35000 rounds through my 228 with never one missfeed or jam. And my buddies 226 is the say way.
I love my Kimbers and when I bought mine they were cheap. Mine have never had any problems.
The only Glock I ever shot well was one in 10mm,but the thing was a beast and I'm not a fan of that caliber. I did have it fire out of battery and blow the ejector rod out (almost took my hand off) A couple minutes with a multitool and it was back to shooting.
