Same thing I saw when I looked at the tacticle 22's. Which is why Id get a Ar15 with the Ciener or whatever kit. Plink until the zombies come out to play. I never saw too much bAd info about be setup except that 22 is dirty and can foul up the AR system a good bit. At least you can gets ton of parts for the AR though.

i'd say get a dedicated 22. i'd like the smith but for the price you can have two other .22's.

My Fav home defense is a mossberg 500c 20ga. Will hold (I think) 7 rounds and is S W E E T. Hey Private Klink, I thought you lived in Green County. But on page 771 you said only had the Sheriff and 1 deputy? Can that be right?

Reference to shot size in a shotgun. One thought (mainly for houses close together) is to go with BIRD SHOT, #8 or #9 shot. Theory is the small shot will not penetrate the walls like larger buckshot will, but a normal household ranges it will do just fine on opening up the Zombie cranial cavity! Makes sense to me. But if you live "out in the boonies", buckshot would be Much preferred.

Hey Mag, I got a Buckmark and a 30mm red dot sight. Guess I should mount the sight on the .22 and hope for the best. It's (I think) got an 8 inch barrel and my wife shoots it REALLY well.

Hey, I just saw the knife Ban got from ya and it's sweet. I have a Big Sky with an 8 inch blade shaped like a sheepsfoot that's kinda nice, but it can't hold a chopping candle to My Lainhart.

Yeah I read where you and the GF were heading that way. I had a stinding invite to visit a friend there for several years (she was stationed at Nellis AFB). But then I got married, and I DID get the better deal!

I'd love to get a plinker next, but might pick up a rifle like the M1 or Saiga .308 in case battle rifles ever get banned.
