Yes, it is. I have become a firm believer that a bad day above ground is better than a good day under ground. At least tomorrow has hope for a better day. Live for the day, because yesterday is history and tomorrow is a mystery. That's a good outlook.

Anyone have big plans for the Thanksgiving time? I am getting together with the family, all the immediate ones, since my grandmother passed away several years ago. After grandma passed there was some bad blood over things said. Well, I guess time does heal, but we will see. Not sure what else I will do, but deer hunting is out since I really don't have a place lined out and just wondering through some public land doesn't sound too appealing. Might take a little road trip and do a day hike or two.

No, but I would like to have one since it is one of my favorite designs.

No big plans for Thanksgiving. Just a nice dinner with my wife, my sister and her kids.

No, but I would like to have one since it is one of my favorite designs. Mine too. It is my most used knife. Looking to get another one to use in the kitchen.

I really hope Busse releases the SAR5 style HOG Muk... that would be awesome.
I dig my Muk a lot, but it's a pain in the butt to sharpen.

The MUK is a great field and kitchen knife, just like the BDLE. The S5 did not do a lot for me but the S5LE has a better feel and balance to me. I have so much steel that needs a good workout I will be a HeMan if I hauled it all out on a day hike!

Man, if Busse does release their MUK I will be on it like flies on a dead water buffalo!
As to SY 154CM, it is a lot tougher than other 154 CM I have worked with. I love 154 CM and the SY is by far the best edge holding I have messed with.

I used tufcloths on mine too, but I've chopped some green wood with pretty acidic sap, and it definitely stained the blade. It's nothing I can't polish out, and I did polish it out before selling the knife, but when I've got ten other blades the same size, none of which require that effort, I end up never grabbing the M9LE.
An M9CG in the right color would fix that problem quite nicely...
