the whole knife is 16.5". lookin at teh pic, about how long would you say the handle is?

i like that estimate. there is so much variation in these knives because they're each handmade, by different men. i like the handles a little bigger. i've had a three finger handled khukri that went to noss for destruction.

I have the cold steel Carbon V kukri and an old Nepal kukri.
One day I should do a chop off between them.
The cold steel kukri is only about half as thick at the spine

That is beautiful work of art! Not too long ago I saw a HI with stag or white horn and I fell in love with it but funds were reall short at the time. IIRC, it was a M43 blade.

M43 is a great blade that converted many into HI collecting, myself included. i never got one, though.
