yeah, picking up those s5's is a good way to save for other knives or your pistol. good plan. Yeah..I sold a few S5's to fund my Desert Dogfather.

I chopped through the pelvic bone and all the other dressing of a whitetail with a 119 & it was still shaving sharp.

I had one but the steel was brittle.
I got rid of it, but I may give one a try again as it just may have been a bad heat treat

i had a grohmann #1 and it was a nice knife. nice finish, comfortable, cut well, and the sheath was nice.
