Honestly, even at $230 bucks, for a third of an inch thick differentially tempered SR-101, I'd still buy the Regulator. It's that good.
I'm glad I got mine at show prices, though.

My mint black/black reg sold for $230
Weight on it is 404 grams according to my scale, and my calipers read .324, just a hair shy of a true third of an inch. OAL is 13 inches and the blade is 7.5 inches.
And I know all of this because I have an excel spreadsheet which tracks specs for all my gear - weights, thicknesses, and lengths for knives, and weights and a few assorted specs for all my backpacking/camping gear.
I'm a dork.
