So some of you know, whats the deal with the HI khuks? Is the steel good?

oh yeah. i love himalayan imports. buy with confidence.

I am not sure of the exact steel used in them, but it's a solid workhorse. Many consider them to be the best hard use kuks in the world. I really need to get one.

They seem like they would be kinda slow and clunky. I guess they can smash through stuff.

I may get a cheaper CS khuk just to get a feel for how to use them.

depends which model. the kobra is very fast and light. the sirupati and chainpuri approach this, but with a little more beef.

the ww2, ganag ram, m43, etc are heavy duty hard choppers. the ang khola is the baddest, the so called "unbreakable knife." break it and they'll give you two for free.

cold steels are no cheaper than the villager models, which are the high performance, low polish khuks. i see them for $75 or less frequently.

something about the polishing process takes a lot away from the performance.

Just looking for a combat grade khuk. Nothing fancy...

i called himon the phone and he said if i wasnt happy that he'd be more than happy to return my money...

went with the P60L in my G2. my favorite light ever.
though i must admit im looking into a regular G2Led since it has a 12 hour runtime...good to have a few anyways.

the CS's went up in price? weren't they around $100 before?
